A couple of adult Laysan albatross bonding.
The white terns (or fairy terns) are the official bird of Honolulu, but here they have no fear and will go hovering right in front of your face or behind your head, checking you out and/or defending their nests!
"Pretty birds!...oh, landing on a trash can. Good job, birds."

Burt walking out onto North Beach, which is officially the most spectacular beach I've ever been to.
A whale skeleton that washed up years ago. Burt and I were confused until we asked, haha.
After pet canaries were let go onto the island, there is a small population of canaries on the island. Not native, but pretty little birds.
